The man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa delivered powerful teachings during all the UFIC Sunday Services on the 5th of March, 2017 and the profoundness of the teaching left most of the audience standing in ovation.
In the Morning Couples’ Service, the man of God, using Deuteronomy 30 vs. 19 as the main scripture reading, said that one has the ability to choose between death and life and for one to be able to make the right choice, they have to exercise their senses.
During the Mid-morning Shona Service, the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa used the example of Daniel’s fast in explaining how most Christians personalize prayers and fasting that are not meant for them. Using the same biblical reference of Daniel, he also mentioned that enjoying a good life does not hinder one from exercising their spiritual gifts and when people pray or fast, they must not focus on the length in time of their prayers or fasting but rather, they must focus on getting results and answers from God.
Speaking to the young people that had attended the last service of the day, the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa continued on the subject of Demonology and using Jesus’ statement in Luke 11 vs. 17, he explained how one can be able to read people’s minds without them saying anything. He went on to say that if one is praying for something, they must be consistent in their prayers and mustn’t be double-minded. He cautioned the youths that they must be careful and resist any demonic influence in their lives and also to be careful of what they say against men and women of God for this can cause them to be cursed and can affect their generations to come.
“You will not know the difference between life and death if your senses are not exercised,” said the man of God, “Exercise your senses. Know the difference between good and evil”. He also taught on how the tongue is very powerful in determining one’s prosperity and success in life as a whole and the victory that Christian believers have in Jesus’s blood which was sacrificed for us.
