Yet Another Night Deep in the Word

Yet again on this very special night visitors from across the world formed a cosmopolitan assembly. They stretched from as far as Canada, Mozambique, Botswana, South Sudan, Malawi, South Africa, Scotland, the United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe.

The main auditorium was full and overflow tents overflowed. Some, taking advantage of cyber technology were tuned on live internet streaming of this glorious night. It was and will always be about Jesus who opened the floodgates of heaven rained grace. You knew the minister before you is not giving you just prophecy but himself as well- you are experiencing love. You knew you are experiencing the manifestation of God.

You could feel the word: and Prophet Makandiwa said whatever you are getting here is here to stay; it is forever. It was a night a non-Shona speaking Prophet was calling out Shona names like Gumbo. Grandpa challenged us to celebrate God more than any sport fan. The Bible says make a joyful noise.

Looking at Grandpa, worshipping his heart out in the night you had that blessed assurance that Jesus is alive for you. The presence of the Lord is in this conference. Grandpadescribed the night as a union of different stories but Jesus was the hero in each case, a testimony to the world.

Grandpa's sermon drew from 1 Kings 3.16 andLuke 15.12-32 and said. "The greatest risk in life is not to take a risk." Listening to such a word difficulty to reduce into text the cold winter of 31 May 2013 can easily be forgotten.

The teaching was just epochal- boldness is something to be admired- Christianity should not be equated to timidity. Where protocol cannot take you, fighting will take you. Life is not fair, it will not give you what you deserve but what you fight for. Who told you what is written cannot be overturned. When God says something it is not final, he needs a witness to implement.

The night was just the word; a call to a relationship with God, to a Father-son affair.Sons must know their rights. There is a difference between arrogance and knowing your right. Ending the night we knew you don't cry and beg for what is yours; you fight and we fight for our portion in life, our God given right through the cross.

Powerful Outpouring marks Day two of Word Convention

The service started around 5pm with a powerful praise and worship session led by the UFIC choral group. They were clad in white and purple uniform displaying elegance and grace, with melodious voices and an enticing vocal prowess; they ministered in an outstanding way. Congregants were raising up their hands singing, dancing and praying with youthful enthusiasm.

Before Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng came to minister, Prophet Makandiwa said "Whatever God is going to give you during this conference, it is here to stay and no single person will miss their miracle. What is about to happen will stay forever, whatever you desire you will receive."

The man of God Prophet Boateng received an amazing welcome from the thousands of excited and cheering crowds. As he stood on the platform Papa Boateng openly declared that "the presence of God is in this place." Prophet Boateng taught from 1 Kings 3:15 -18 explaining the daring character of the harlots that showed up at King Solomon's court. "Life is not fair, it will not give you what you deserve but what you fight for" he said.

He preached a powerful message challenging believers to unapologetically rise up and fight for what is rightfully theirs. In the world that we are living today it is important to understand who we are and what we represent. "We are children of the most High God; we are not ordinary people!. this is your season and your time" said Prophet Boateng. "If you can rise up and pray you will make it in this life" said the man of God.

The vast gathering echoed for miles far off as thousands of voices sang "Blessed be the Lord Almighty, I chose to lift your name on high" bursting out in spontaneous praise and worship to the Lord. It was truly a historic meeting

Word Convention Opening Night

"Give the Lord some praise, lift your voice and shout said the host Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa welcoming the ecstatic crowds that responded with loud cries. "The devil is in trouble, this conference shall be a conference with a difference" he said. Introducing the guest speaker Prophet Makandiwa described Grandpa Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng as a friend of God, "the biggest of them all is here… there is no man that hears God more than my father, every other man of God can hear God but not the way my Father hears."

Prophet Boateng read from 1 Kings 3: 12-20 and explained in detail the two different women, formerly harlots. In his sermon he impressed upon the hearts of congregants that it is impossible to change your origin but what you can change is your future. "God shall not consult your past to determine where you are going" said the man of God.

"Arise and shine for your time has come, it is time to live for posterity" he added Prophet Boateng further encouraged people to continue to identify themselves with the visionary of United Family International Church, Prophet Makandiwa saying connections are very important in life especially connections with the right people. "Deep calleth unto deep and iron sharpens iron" affirmed Papa Boateng.

Prophetic ministration was austere as the Lord revealed to redeem. The man of God, Prophet Boateng super imposed the voice of Heaven upon the lives of believers, cancelling the spirit of death upon many.

It was a memorable night in the presence of God. Dare to believe God for irreversible transformation and attend the Word Convention 2013.

Word Convention Conference 2013

As the norm with previous UFIC conferences, we will experience a great move of God full of demonstration of power, deep prophecies to nations and many individuals and impartation of the grace of God on the Congregation in a power packed Holy Spirit filled environment.

Tens of thousands of people will be in attendance as many will want to be where God is making his presence and character felt. Many International Visitors from all over the globe have been to previous conferences and left with a permanent life changing experience.

Love is the Answer

This is just a small part of the great love being shown by Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa through Agape Family Care. School fee for thousands of orphans is being paid, various orphanages are being taken care of, rentals are being paid for many underprivileged families among other care and support exercise being carried out by Agape Family Care.

The Season of Uncommon Bread

The 3rd of February 2013 was yet another incredible Sunday at United Family International Church. People came in their numbers and intensity of the anointing was apparent from the beginning of the service. The man of God Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa taught from Mathew 12:1-3 and 1 Samuel 21: 1-6

He explained how Jesus defended his disciples for plucking corn from the fields on the Sabbath day and also established that Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath."Sabbath is a man and in him people find rest" he clarified. He further argued that no law can be above Christ.

Similarly there are a kind of people that are exempted from certain rules. When David was fleeing from Saul he went to Ahimelech the Priest and asked for bread, the Bible says the Priest told David "there is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread." The kind of bread available was not ordinary such that David and his men were not qualified to eat it. Prophet Makandiwa impressed upon the believers that we are now in a new season where the common and ordinary things should no longer be the portion meant for the church. Rather the miracles we are witnessing in this dispensation are demonstrating the power of God in an unusual way. In UFI we are now in a season where the church members have access to bread which is not common resembling the miracles and blessing of God being manifested during our services.

However the man of God also stressed that one can only eat hallowed bread if they maintain holiness like David's men who kept themselves from women. Sin acts a barrier to receiving the blessing of God. "Like Ahimelech the Priest I am looking for people like David to come partake of bread that is the preserve of the priests" said the man of God. It's revival indeed! The speed of happenings and miracles is breath-taking! This is no longer common bread.

Love Never Fails

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa's sermon was drawn from the book of 1 John 4 vs7-8, 1 Corinthians 13 vs 1-3 where he extensively taught on the subject of love. He made it clear that the majority of people do not know or understand love. There are a lot of things in this life that are mistaken for love. Through the scriptures and an incredible revelation the man of God made known some very profound things on this matter. He emphasised that love is the greatest command God gave to mankind making this the foundation upon which everything else must lay. Man ought to be conditioned and transformed by love and the demonstration of this virtue will show that we are truly the Lord's children.

Prophet Makandiwa said "Love shows we are born of God because God is love." Operating in the gifts of God without Love is meaningless. There are many gifts that God gave to men but a sure way of proving that a man is born of God is through showing Love. He encouraged everyone to demonstrate love unconditionally.

The man of God described two kinds of love called Agape and Eros. Agape is that type of love where one loves another unconditionally. Eros is that intimate and romantic affection exercised by married people. The selfless love that God demonstrated to humanity was without merit and everyone born of God must express love to others. He challenged the couples to continuously work on building their relationships.

"Before loving others, man ought to love himself first. It is difficult to love others without loving yourself," explained the man of God. Prophet Makandiwa revealed that miracles are conceived out of love. Filled with compassion and empathy he ministered to numerous believers who were suffering from different sicknesses. Instantly many received their healing and testified the awesome presence of God working miracles through Prophet E Makandiwa.

UFIC Launches Prayer Day

Saturday 26 January marked the first day of prayer where the church will be meeting each last Saturday of the month. Thousands of people thronged City Sports Centre to pray and get delivered.

Following the launch of the 2013 Theme, The Year of Divine Solutions, Prophet E. Makandiwa made a point that the Church needs to engage a higher gear of prayer like never before in order to accomplish everything that Lord had promised his church.

Prophet E. Makandiwa explained said "The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of realities, we can prove that God is alive... miracles prove that God is real and amongst us". He added on saying "the church is government which is able to manufacture what the members have need of" The Day of prayer starts at 3pm and it takes place on the last Saturday of each Month. Thousands of people from within the land of Zimbabwe as well as foreigners from different countries converged to pray, worship and got delivered from different bondages.

When Prophet Makandiwa arrived, the atmosphere within the venue was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit already ministering since the beginning of the service. The Man of God referred the congregants to two chapters from the book of John 5: 20 and 14: 12, reaffirming the Church that the revival is going on and a lot of great miracles will continue to take place. The man of God said, the Lord will continue to do greater miracles to those who have faith. Jesus said "I tell you the truth anyone who has faith will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these…" John 14: 12 (NIV)

The man of God encouraged the Church to be spiritually sensitive and raise their faith to levels where everything would be happening in their lives according to the word of God. Since the beginning of the year 2013, a lot of great instant miracles have been happening in the Church and that Saturday was a continuation of the manifestation of the hand of God. A lot of people lost considerable amounts of weight some reported losing more than ten kg's instantly and many where instantly healed from different chronic diseases. Doctor Wilfred Muteweye who was present explained that obesity is a disease which can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiac related illnesses and it was a great relief to be healed of obesity.

As the Prophet was about to conclude the service, he promised the church that God had opened a lot of massive financial opportunities that would turn the lifestyles of thousands of believers miraculously. He added that things would be happening like a dream and it is going to shock a lot of people.

Revival: A New Dispensation of Unusual Miracles

Tuesday 22 was a continuation of the immense revival atmosphere that had been felt since Sunday. It was another service that exhibited the possibilities of the instant power of God.When Prophet Makandiwa stepped up to the podium in the presence of the power of the Holy Spirit that already engulfed the place, evidenced by a deep worship by the congregants that took over two hours, immediately unparalleled happenings began to occur.

In an unusual fashion, the Man of God instructed that the congregation was going to watch some video footage presenting the miracles that happened during the previous Sunday at both the morning and afternoon services. As the man of God had earlier said that some miracles will be taking place instantly as people will be viewing the video footage, a lot of miracles reportedly took place being confirmed by the large number of testimonies.

Michelle Maidei Chimbwanda (25) from Kuwadzana suburb of Harare, lost a significant amount of weight while watching the footage. The Munetsi couple also encountered a touch of the Holy Spirit when the husband experienced a re-growth of hair on his bald head. The wife was induced by the Holy Ghost to immediately get into labour when Prophet Makandiwa ministered to her and the unborn child.

The man of God he reaffirmed the congregants that with this great revival, unusual miracles are going to take place. Some of the miracles he mentioned included the appearance of gold in houses, miraculous increase of food stuffs in houses and divine business connections, among others.

It is amazing to see how God has started to do things which the Christian generation has not seen, heard and handled as what he declared through Prophet Jeremiah 33:3. Truly, the great revival has begun!

God's Healing Power Demonstrated

After speaking to one someone from Zimbabwe she was encouraged to attend UFI and come under healing power of God through his servant Prophet Makandiwa. She was given 10 sermons DVD's of Prophet Makandiwa. She explained that she was not bothered to watch or listen to the DVD'S for months because she had confidence in the medical practitioners to solve her problems instead of seeking the hand of God.

As the problem became unbearable she became so hopeless, only then did she decide to listen to the sermons from the Man of God. In one day she listened to a number of sermons on DVD and decided to cry unto God to free her of this burden. She explains that when she decided to sleep towards early dawn after praying at night she had a dream on 24 December where she had a vision of Prophet E Makandiwa coming into her house and declared that "all that is troubling you is now over". She explained that in her dream everything seemed so real that she even wondered how the Man of God appeared in her house when her doors seemed were locked.

On 6 January she then left South Africa to attend the UFI service. The Man of God picked her out of the crowd and ministered healing to her. She instantly received her healing and was surprised that the pain had totally disappeared from the shoulder and bone that doctors had failed to treat. The Doctors had even told her that there was nothing else they could do for her as they had exhausted all avenues they knew. God who is the greatest healer then came through for her through Prophet Makandiwa when all else had failed.

She explained that she has not seen an angel like Prophet E Makandiwa. She told the congregation that there is a point where education, degrees and money fail to work. In such moments we need the healing power of God. "Today I'm a living testimony of God's healing power through Prophet E Makandiwa" explained Mrs Hukuimwe.

Revival has Started in Zimbabwe

What happened in Zimbabwe, Harare, on the 20th of January at the City Sports Centre at the United Family International Church service was historic and unprecedented, with a powerful anointing, changed hearts, and transformed lives. Spectacular manifestations of the power of God were witnessed live. Not only where thousands baffled by the proceedings of these epic moments but many went away with awesome, unbelievable testimonies.

"The time for revival in Zimbabwe has come" proclaimed Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa as he began teaching from book of Jeremiah 33:3 which reads "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." He gave a clear-cut, scripturally based presentation on why miracles signs and wonders take place in church. As the man of God explained the revival will witness a great move of God which men in his ordinary senses has not been accustomed to or has knowledge of.

As always the main auditorium was fully packed,no words can ever fully describe these moments in God's divine presence. The Bible, the ultimate source of the word of God is crystal clear on this matter, Mark 16: 17 says "and these signs shall follow them that believe". So for people to argue against the idea that the need for signs and wonders passed away is clearly baseless argued the man of God. He took time to emphasise that when the spirit of God begins to minister often the results are beyond our mental abilities to understand. Present day sceptics however, always question the usefulness of miracles signs and wonders in church. Prophet Makandiwa reasoned that irrespective of the fact a lot of people were sick in Galilee Jesus the son of God could afford time to walk on water. This reveals that God performs certain miracles just to prove that he is God regardless of whether man will approve or not.

On numerous occasions Jesus performed other miracles such as changing water into wine and miraculously feeding the five thousand yet his disciples had another feasible alternative in the natural. Prophet Makandiwa added that in the Old Testament God practically altered the world's time all in a bid to convince one man, Hezekiah. [2 Kings 20:9] The man of God said "signs and wonders which make people believe, are also meant to accompany the preaching of the gospel and will be the confirmation that it is the truth from God".

Prophet Makandiwa also quoted Scripture where Paul stresses: "And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (1 Corinthians 2:4).

As the crowd joined in worship and prayer during the service, an atmosphere for the miraculous filled the house. So many people of various ages experienced God's healing touch, to some sight was restored, new teeth emerged, instantly some experienced weight loss, gold dust appeared on the hands of others, and others mysteriously picked up strange stones which resembled, diamonds, gold, emeralds. Oil was visible on some people's hands during the service, however time did not allow for all those who had experienced a miracle to come to the podium to testify about the miracle they had received. The extraordinary demonstrations of the supernatural that occur in UFI testify that God sent his servant amongst us. God can do the inexplicable, the unexpected, and the unimaginable!!!

Breaking Generational Curses

Esau's descendants were subject to Jacob's descendants until such a time as they became strong and freed themselves off the yoke. This was an example of a generational yoke which Esau's descendants had been subject to. Prophet E. Makandiwa gave hope to many by pointing out that the yoke of bondage does not last forever, it will break and expire when a man stands his ground and fights in prayer. In the fullness of time every yoke or generational curse will break (2 Chronicles 21 vs 4) because nothing lasts forever.

Severe poverty and misfortune is a sign of generational yokes which need men to stand their ground and declare enough is enough. Prophet E. Makandiwa led the congregation into serious warfare prayer to break all yokes and generational bondages. He declared that because of the power of God the yokes had been broken and the people left the service free of the yokes they had been subject to.

As the service progressed people moved to the Altar to receive an impartation to break yokes and the atmosphere was full of the glory of God as many worshipped and celebrated God for giving them victory over the enemies yokes.

The Man of God went on to prophecy various individuals correcting errors and deceptions of the devil in people's lives.

The Principle of Relationships

"As Christians we should unite people and not destroy relationships. Always strive to apologise and mend broken relationships, be humble enough to do so. Never break a relationship openly for tomorrow you may need that same person. Relationships require you to sacrifice time and money to develop". In a marriage setup spouses were encouraged to unite families and not cause divisions in families.

In your area of business develop alliances with key people in key areas because you will need their service and assistance, be honest with people and clients, its not all about getting their money but developing long term relationships for future business. Jonathan always advised David when trouble was coming from Saul.

In building relationships you need to know the boundaries of operating in that relationship with regards to issues you discuss, how you visit each other, financial matters among others. Don't be more interested in what you get out of a relationship but focus on the input you can make in that relationship and make meaningfull contributions. Prophet E. Makandiwa warned the congregation to avoid showing interest or wanting gain from other peoples finances and resources as this is a turn off for most people and will damage the development of relationships.

Every time you attend church make it a habit to know someone you have not spoken to. Prophet E. Makandiwa advised the church that wisdom received will position people to be more alligned with their destinies.

In The Presence of The Holy Spirit

Many came expecting and were fullfilled as Prophet Makandiwa taught from John 16 verses 12-17 when Jesus called on the disciples to wait for the coming of the Holy Ghost who would lead them into all truth. Prophet Makandiwa explained that without the Holy Spirit you cannot recieve or percieve all the revelation and truth contained in the scriptures. He also highlighted that the Holy Spirit gives a believer the ability to do extraodinary things and surpass expectation Exodus (31 vs 1-5).

In a demonstration of power with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the congregation many were slain by the power of the Holy Ghost and recieved evidence of the Holy Spirit by speaking in new tongues. Others recieved a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit and left the service overflowing with the fullness of the Holy Ghost.

This bears witness that the Holy Spirit is present and fully functional in the life of Prophet Makandiwa and the UFI Church.

Exposing the Demon Affecting Africa (Introduction)

Have you ever wondered what is causing Africa to be stagnant in many areas when it has resources that are not matched by any other continent? Well, the answer lies in Prophet Makandiwa's sermon to the United Family International Church during the evening service on Tuesday, June 19.

There is a demon that afflicts Africa and during that sermon Prophet Makandiwa exposed that demon.
Members of the church who heeded Prophet Makandiwa's call for them to fast on the day of the service were left with no doubt that it was necessary to do so.
The sermon was aptly titled: "Exposing the Demon Afflicting Africa" and although it was just an introduction, the people were left with no doubt that most of Africa's problems are spiritual.

Prophet Makandiwa said there is indeed a demon that is affecting Africa's progress and it is time for it to be exposed.He said for Zimbabwe to progress, there is need to know the principalities that are affecting Africa and its development.

The devil, Prophet Makandiwa said, runs a kingdom which has an order or hierarchy.
He said the devil's kingdom is an imitation of the hierarchy in the Kingdom of God.
The devil's kingdom starts with the devil himself, followed by his angels of darkness which are the principalities and then the servants of the devil who are people being used by the devil and these are evil priests and leaders who carry out his plan.
At the bottom of that hierarchy are people who believe in the devil.

Prophet Makandiwa said the devil is there to ensure that there is no progress in Africa, yet Africa is loved so much by God.In fact, each time there was a crisis among the Israelites, Prophet Makandiwa said, God made them turn to Africa for solutions.

The Tabernacle of Moses came from Africa and all the materials used to build it came from the continent when Israel left Egypt during the Exodus. Abraham had to leave his place of birth for Africa during a famine.
Likewise, Joseph came to Africa during a famine, resulting in the rest of his family following him to get sustenance from Africa because Joseph was now living in Egypt.
When Jesus was born, his father Joseph was told to take him to Africa so that he could escape death.

If God loved Africa that much, why is it that the continent is failing in many areas? Prophet Makandiwa said Africa is failing because of the mentality of Africans.He said Africans were also dealing with powerful forces that work against them.But running away from the continent will not solve anything because the people carry the mentality of an African.

"The difference between the rich and the poor is in their mentality," said Prophet Makandiwa.
"Giving the poor substance without dealing with their mindset will not solve any problems. Africa needs deliverance of mindsets and not material donations."

Prophet Makandiwa said Lucifer had a garden which was adorned with precious stones and had control on earth, which was his kingdom. Lucifer knows where God placed all the mineral wealth and other precious stones because he was among the angels who witnessed the creation of the world.

Prophet Makandiwa read from Ezekiel 28 vs 7-8 which shows that Lucifer's dwelling was in the first Eden that was full of precious stones. "If you ask Lucifer to present a map of where precious stones are, he will present a map of Africa," said Prophet Makandiwa.

"Lucifer was in charge of worship and was the only angel given a kingdom on earth to be in charge of."
Prophet Makandiwa said Lucifer's knowledge of where mineral wealth was deposited by God makes him able to misdirect the children of God away from resources and wealth.He said the demons and principalities of the devil were working against Africa, causing confusion and bringing disorder among African people.
"This hinders the people from harnessing the great wealth of the continent," he said. "These are powers and rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness."Disorder will thrive, but the moment order is brought in there are principalities that cause problems."

Prophet Makandiwa said there are demons and principalities in Africa that hate order.
"When there is no order they don't attack you, but when there is order they come and fight you," he said.
"Africa has resources, but the devil and his principalities bring disorder so that the people of Africa will not utilise them. The curse is not on Africa, but on the mentality of the Africans."

Prophet Makandiwa said Africa will only thrive when its people change their mentality. He said the devil's tactics include bringing hunger to a nation so that he can control where its people go. "The only time Jesus was escorted by the devil was when he was hungry (Luke 4) and was being tempted by the devil," said Prophet Makandiwa.

"Satan is gaining control in Africa because of hunger on the continent. Whenever famine is introduced, people's lives are controlled by the devil."Prophet Makandiwa said the devil was working against Africa, fighting good projects and leaving those of no value.
