All Preparations Done for the UFIC and AFC Donation to Cyclone IDAI Victims

THE UNITED FAMILY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH in conjunction with Agape Family Care has joined hands with well-wishers and its partners to mobilize relief aid for the victims of Cycle IDAI which hit the eastern part of Zimbabwe. Under the leadership of Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa, UFIC and AFC put scripture into practice by calling people to take compassionate action and share the love of God with the victims of Cyclone IDAI in Manicaland Province. UFIC and AFC opened their doors to their partners and well-wishers to come and donate towards the relief aid of Cyclone IDAI victims. The official hand-over will be done tomorrow, 21 March 2019 in Manicaland.


People from all walks of life responded to the call that was made by UFIC and Agape Family Care to assist the victims of Cyclone IDAI. The items that were donated were blankets, clothes for all people and all sizes, shoes, bed sheets, sanitary wear, detergents, toiletries, maize, mealie meal amongst many others goods have been loaded in a 30-tonne truck that will be headed to Manicaland Province tomorrow.


The donations came from the UFIC and Agape Family Care partners in Harare and UFIC branches all over Zimbabwe and these donations which complemented the 4 storage tanks of the Agape Family Care Emergency Preparedness Stock.


Volunteers spend the whole day sorting and packing the donations in preparation of the official hand-over of the goods which will be done tomorrow, 21 March 2019 in Manicaland Province.


The body of Christ heeded to the call of the servants of God; Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa to join hands in a worthy cause in a move to share the unconditional love of God and bring hope to the victims of Cyclone IDAI; which left thousands of people displaced and hundreds missing due to the heavy rains and flooding.
