The Man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa encouraged people to always pray for mothers on the 12th of May 2024, during the UFIC Sunday Service at the Chitungwiza Basilica.
“Let’s take this opportunity and raise prayers for our mothers.” The Man of God said, as he addressed the congregation.
“We are thanking them, and at the same time, thanking God for giving us mothers.”
“We would like to honor mothers by way of prayer; thanking God for blessing our mothers.”
As he emphasized on the importance of the role that mothers play in the society, the Man of God took time to remind the congregants that everyone was raised by a mother, and mothers are more involved in the day-to-day childcare, always making sure that everything is okay.
“Almost 99 percent of mothers are not feeling well. It is not just because they are old. They have dealt with a lot of things.” He said.
“It is time for us to thank God for patient mothers, who were always there for us, took care of us and today we are standing as adults because somebody took her time, and she was always there.”
“We love you, mothers.” he said, as he led the congregation into a time of prayer for mothers.
