Situated in Kadenge Village Ward 5 in Murewa, Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home caters for orphaned children, with ages ranging from infancy to teenagers. For over a decade, this institution has had a good relationship with Agape Family Care under its Institutions Support Program.
“The relationship between Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home and Agape Family Care started way back in 2010.” Said Pastor R. Nyadembera from Agape Family Care.
And over the years, Ruth Emmanuel Makandiwa has made numerous donations to Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home in the form of food aid, scholarships, construction of blocks, project support and sanitation.
In celebrating her birthday, on the 7th of September 2023, she assigned the AFC Team again to go Tanyaradzwa, this time with a huge donation that will transform the operations and sustenance of the institution. The institution received, a Grinding Mill, a Dehuller machine, a Peanut Butter Making Machine and 1 hectare Drip Irrigation Kit.
“The purpose of this donation is to help Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home to be more self-sustaining.” Pastor Nyadembera added.
“I would love to thank AFC and Mom Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa for this love that she has shown again to Tanyaradzwa Children’s Home.” Mrs Chitekwe, Co-founder of the institution said.
“It has been a continuation of love to us from her…this donation is going to benefit the institution in projects.”
