For the UFIC Family, the year 2011 was packed with unforgettable Supernatural experiences. And as the had just begun, the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa brought to life that scripture which says;
“ 11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul,12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.” Acts 19 vs. 12 (KJV)
On the 6th of March 2011, the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa distributed prayer mantles to the UFIC members and everyone who was present at the Harare City Sports Centre.
The whole vicinity of the Harare City Sports Centre was packed with people who couldn’t wait to get their own mantles. The auditorium was filled to capacity and there were two overflow tents outside of the auditorium but they were not enough to contain the people.
The tents were also filled to capacity and people ended up sitting in the bare sun, some even sitting in on bare ground – people were hungry for a touch from God that they could only find at UFIC.
“I’m believing God for this; that once you are connected to the environment…you get your mantle…it is going to activate that which God has deposited into your Spirit” the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa said in his opening remarks during that service.
After reading from the book of 1st Samuel chapter 22 verses 1-2, Emmanuel Makandiwa explained how after David had escaped to the cave of Adullam, God raised a generation of men of valor from the people of his father’s house that followed David to that cave.
“Tonight, let’s gather around Jesus and let’s see what will happen!” Prophet Emmanuel declared, “From this City Sports Centre, the Lord is raising a new generation!”
Giving reference to Acts chapter 19 vs. 12, the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa explained on the significance of the prayer mantles as he said that the people were going to be touched by the power of God through the mantles. Adding on to that, Emmanuel Makandiwa also said these prayer mantles were tabernacles that people can use during the time of prayer, the same as the Hebrew prayer shawls.
After a thanksgiving prayer that the whole church partook in, Prophets Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa began distributing the mantles – lo and behold, the power of God took over in an amazing way.
Just as the man of God; Emmanuel Makandiwa had said, “From the time you receive it…when it touches your body, you shall feel it,” people could no longer control themselves after receiving the prayer mantles.
Demonic spirits began manifesting and for some, the power of God was too much for them to be able to control themselves. The ushers were outnumbered as the power of God touched the thousands of lives that were present on the day.
Prophet Emmanuel and Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa moved around in the auditorium and in the overflow tents, distributing the prayer mantles and as they were doing so, people received healing miracles soon after they had received their mantles.
Great testimonies of healing and deliverance were recorded from these prayer mantles that were given from the hands of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa as the power of God wrought miracles in the lives of thousands of people through these prayer mantles.
